Last week for the fifth time in a row, the world’s largest lecture on the subject of sustainability in the electronics “Electronics Goes Green” took place, attracting numerous environmental experts, researchers, industrial representatives and politicians to Berlin.
Key issues at this year’s Electronics Goes Green conference included increasing energy and material efficiency, as well as opportunities to recover critical metals, with repair and recycling companies playing an increasingly important and vital role.
Other important topics of the conference were technologies of the future as well as software solutions for process optimization.
We are eager to see what new approaches this year’s Electronics Goes Green will bring and what new tasks we will face in four years at the next “Electronic Goes Green” meeting.
