Fridays for Future Movement, Diesel Driving bans, the abandonment of plastic and fossil fuels are topics that come into contact with you almost on a daily basis. But is it possible that these measures are not relevant at all because something else is responsible for climate change? Something bigger than anything man can do?
How the sun controls our climate
Researchers suspect that cosmic rays could be responsible for climate change.
This cosmic radiation results in particles that arrive on the Earth, or the atmosphere and the intensity is controlled by the magnetic field of the sun, whereupon the human has little influence.
The magnetic field of the sun, however, fluctuates. If it is particularly strong, this field protects the earth from radiation, it is weak, the cosmic radiation hits us more and the radiation warms the earth and thus our climate.
Whether this really the case, is an open question, because this is a thesis of the researchers.
However, it has been proven that humans are heavily involved in the development of our climate and therefore also in keeping it stable.
