As almost everyone has been able to extract from the media recently, students all over Germany are campaigning for climate protection. You do this in the best student movement style of 1968, namely strikes in 50 German cities and in other parts of Europe under the slogan #FridaysForFuture.
Where does the movement come from?
The movement #FridaysForFuture is a Swedish student who has been leaving school every Friday in protest for better environmental protection.
This protest has spread quickly via social media and now even extends to Australia.
What can one hold on this movement?
Exactly a lot, after all, it is the successor generations who have to live with the climatological legacy of our and our predecessor generations. It shows a rethinking in the minds of the “new people”, which is appropriate with regard to research results on climate protection and global warming.
It is a pity, however, that in Germany many people are more concerned about whether students are allowed to strike instead of dealing with the problem.
